About The same number, the same answer, since 1988.
Express Bail Bonds is a Colorado-licensed bail bond service run out of 1304 Elati Street in Denver. Locally owned, independent, and answered by a real bondsman — Mark — for nearly four decades.
why this work matters
A late-night phone call is rarely good news. We pick it up.
“When a loved one is behind bars, every minute matters.”
That has been the working principle since 1988. The phone, the rate, and the answer have not changed.
Local, not corporate
We are not a national chain or a call center. Express Bail Bonds is a single Denver office with a single bondsman who knows the courts, the jails, and the procedures from three decades of working inside them.
Plain-spoken, not slick
When a loved one is in custody, the family does not need salesmanship. They need someone to explain — in plain English — what the bond costs, who the cosigner is, what happens next, and what the realistic timeline is.
Available, not "available"
Twenty-four/seven means a phone is ringing in a real person’s pocket. No outsourced overnight queue, no callback promises that take an hour. The booking clock does not pause for office hours.
how we work
The principles we have not changed in 35 years.
A real bondsman, not a queue
A knowledgeable bondsman picks up — at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m. No voicemail, no IVR, no callback queue. Texting works too.
The Colorado standard rate, period
A 15% premium is what Colorado statute sets. We charge it. Bonds over $5,000 with an approved cosigner can drop to 10%. Nothing is hidden.
Honest math, before you commit
On the first call, before any paperwork is signed, we walk you through what the bond will cost, what the cosigner is signing, what the court will require afterward, and what happens if a court date is missed.
Realistic timelines
We tell you what we’re seeing in the booking queue right now. Most Colorado releases happen in 2–4 hours. We don’t promise faster, and we keep you updated until your loved one is out.
